What do you do at MedAssets? 

I work as the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis for the Revenue Management segment. I am responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis for the segment. I began three years ago as a Sr. Financial Analyst. In this prior role, I was responsible for budgeting/forecasting, as well as modeling prospective deal scenarios for our sales team.

 
What do you like most about your job? 
That MedAssets empowers its employees to make decisions. In other companies I have worked for, job duties were very rigid, but here at MedAssets, you are given the freedom and flexibility to get the job done. I also like that career development is a vital part of the organization. We have our own Training department that offers various professional development classes. You don’t get that in many companies.
 
What do you like best about working at MedAssets?  
We have an amazing culture. It’s the little things that keep employees happy and our Leadership team knows this. From company outings to simple birthday cards, our company values its strong culture.
 
Why did you choose to work at MedAssets?
I wanted to work for a dynamic, growing company where I could make an immediate impact. MedAssets was a great fit in terms of job responsibilities, management exposure, and overall corporate culture.

Constant change. Whether it’s learning a new acquisition or researching monthly P&L variances, I’m always learning something new.
